Varicose veins

Veins work against gravity in the circulatory system and therefore have to withstand a lot of pressure. Our veins return the used blood to the heart, where it is then re-oxygenated by the lungs and supplies the body with oxygen. Varicose veins often develop as we age. Varicose veins develop when the delicate veins or venous valves can no longer withstand the pressure of the blood over the years. Spider veins are often the first sign of a venous disorder. Diseased veins eventually appear increasingly twisted and thick on the surface of the legs if they are not treated in time.

We offer the entire diagnostic spectrum using venous ultrasound as well as minimally invasive therapy for spider veins and varicose veins.

CT-guided injections: Herniated Disc & Spinal Stenosis

Spinal pain is often caused by disc movements (so-called herniations). The disc presses on a nerve emerging from the spinal cord and sometimes causes severe pain and often also sensory deficits (e.g. tingling, numbness). In most cases, the lumbar spine is affected because this is where the greatest pressure is exerted on the discs.

As part of an initial consultation, we offer a diagnostic evaluation of the lumbar spine MRI. On this basis, we can then plan the minimally invasive therapy with precision. To do this, we carry out a targeted infiltration under sterile conditions and using CT (computer tomography) in the area of the constricted spinal cord nerve that we have already identified in the lumbar spine MRI.

Ultrasound diagnostics

High-resolution diagnostic ultrasound and minimally invasive ultrasound-targeted therapies at the highest level and in line with the latest scientific and technical standards are offered through our experience, state-of-the-art equipment and sufficient time for our patients. High-resolution ultrasound is the diagnostic method of choice for examining small and anatomically important structures painlessly and without harmful radiation, even while moving if necessary. This enables us to examine illnesses and injuries with precision, something that was previously not possible in medicine.

We scan everything from hair to socks – organs, breasts, blood vessels, joints, muscles, nerves, glands, tendons, etc. If required, we also perform ultrasound-targeted biopsies (e.g. breasts).
